Background

Born and raised on a fisherman’s island Pescadores, Taiwan, started painting at the age of four, Hung left hometown to pursue her fine art study at National Taiwan Normal University in Taipei and soon followed her MFA from the prestigious School of Cinema [3], University of Southern California in Los Angeles, USA. Her first film “VIOLA : the Traveling Rooms of a Little Giant [4]” grabbed her a Student Academy Awards and the cover of the Academy Report, swiping more than 10 awards and 20 nominations around 100 festivals globally up to date : the painterly, emotional coming-of-age quality of storytelling also attracts art museums ( Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum YouTube Play [5]/, Singapore Art Museum & Taipei MOCA) to showcase her works.

Hung continues working globally as a director and joined Ridley Scott Associates (RSA Films Asia [6]) in 2009. Her commercial works includes music video for Grammy nominee Katie Herzig's first single "Free My Mind" in her 2011 album "The Waking Sleep", "Imitation [7]" for Mêlée (band)'s [8] 2nd single in album "Devils and Angels", Warner Bros. Records[9], European PSP commercials (Harry Potter[10] and Color Range) with Sony PlayStation [11], and several others.
